Life transitions can occur at any point throughout an individual’s life span. There are certain periods of life that are huge transitions for everyone (ie: adolescents, becoming an adult, etc.), and then there are experiences individuals go through that result in major change and periods of transition (ie: relationship changes/breakups, graduating, new jobs, becoming parents, etc.).
Many times these transitions are like new terrain or unexplored territory for the individual. Walking through this space can be filled with new experiences, challenges, and emotions. It can leave an individual feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, stuck, and unsure of who they are or what they are feeling. The weight of this can start to feel heavy over time, leaving you dragging through the day in order to just keep moving. However, you don’t have to trudge through this alone—having a guide can help you unpack and lighten the load you are carrying.
